Radoslav Yankov finishes fourth at Snowboard World Cup in Bansko

The best Bulgarian snowboarder Radoslav Yankov made an impressive finish in the fourth place at the World Cup in Bansko. He achieved it in the parallel slalom start, his best result in the World Cup since 2019. 

The Bulgarian snowboarder finished 7th in the qualifying stage, and then eliminated South Korea's Sang-ho Lee, as well as Italy's Daniele Bagozza. In the semi-finals, Yankov was overtaken by Arvid Auner from Austria. In the race for the third place, the Bulgarian lost against Stefan Baumeister from Germany. 

Italian snowboarder Maurizio Bormolini won in Bansko.

Before the competitions in Bansko, Yankov, 32, said he planned to continue his career until the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina.
