The EU has not taken action connected with the sanctioning of Bulgarians by the US and the UK and cannot penalize these people for corruption. This is the answer given by the European Commission to a question by the BNR, Anguelina Piskova, BNR correspondent in Brussels reports.
The US imposed sanctions, under the Global Magnitsky Human Rights Accountability Act, on Vladislav Goranov, Rumen Ovcharov, Alexander Nikolov, Ivan Genov and Nikolay Malinov.
