According to the European Commission, Sofia can be one of the hundred climate-neutral and smart cities of the future, Sofia Mayor Yordanka Fandakova said at the opening of a business forum "Together for Less CO2 Emissions".

She pointed out that Sofia had made commitments to achieve climate neutrality by 2030. "Placing Sofia next to cities like Copenhagen, Gothenburg, Paris and Milan is a positive assessment for our program, as well as a task that can only be achieved if we work together," Fandakova added.

Bulgarian society and Bulgarian business are waiting for the change, which depends on all of us, said manager of the German-Bulgarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Mitko Vassilev, on behalf of the organizers of the forum.
