During an operation by the General Directorate Combating Organised Crime, two people were detained as complicit in the international trafficking of half a kilogram of cocaine, BNT reported. The special police operation took place late last night on the territory of Kyustendil.
The two detainees are 35 and 40 years old and have no criminal record. The case is being investigated jointly by the US Department of Homeland Security and the US Drug Enforcement Agency.
Pre-trial proceedings have also started, it was reported.
