Weather forecast for Bulgaria for Friday, March 17

Relatively cold weather for mid-March

Clouds and rain are in the forecast for Bulgaria for Thursday night. There will be sleet in the high fields of Western Bulgaria and the Pre-Balkans. There will be moderate northeasterly wind. The lowest temperatures will range from minus 1°C to 4°C, for Sofia- around 0°C.

Precipitation will stop on Friday, by evening clouds will break. There will be moderate to strong northeasterly wind. Maximum temperatures 7° C -12°C, for Sofia around 7°C.

It will be mostly cloudy over the mountains. There will be snow in some massifs. Clouds will break in the afternoon hours.There will be moderate northeasterly wind. Maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m. 1°C, at 2,000 m. -5°C.

It will be mostly cloudy over the Black Sea coast, with a chance of light rain in some portions of the coastline in the morning hours. There will be moderate to temporarily strong northerly wind. Daytime highs will reach 8°C-9°C. The seawater temperature is also 8°C-9°C.

Clouds and rain are in the forecast for Western Europe and the Iberian Peninsula. It will be cloudy and windy on the Scandinavian Peninsula, with a chance of significant snow. It will be mostly cloudy in Central Europe. It will be mostly sunny over Belarus, Western Ukraine and the Central Mediterranean.
