There are many folk songs praising the beauty of the Bulgarian woman. The song "Devoyche" is one of them. It is dedicated to all Bulgarian women and especially to the women from Southwestern Bulgaria. Mina Sucheva who performs the piece is also from this Bulgarian region.
She was born in the town of Blagoevgrad in the family of choreographer Zhaneta Sucheva, who was a soloist in Ensemble Pirin. Mina herself discovered her love for music at the age of 15 or 16. She studied at the National Academy of Music "Professor Pancho Vladigerov" in Sofia, majoring in pop and jazz singing. She learned a lot as a backing vocalist for Veselin Marinov, but she wants to develop her talent in a different music style and has already recorded several original songs. The latest piece "Devoyche" is a blend of Bulgarian folklore and modern sounding. The arrangement is by Ivan Petrov. Ivan Petrov and Mina Sucheva add new melodic elements to the popular folk song. Mina also authored the lyrics of the song.
