Russian-Israeli virtuoso trumpeter Sergey Nakariakov visits the Sofia Philharmonic

One of the most sought-after trumpeters on the international stage, Sergei Nakariakov, dubbed the "Paganini of the trumpet", is the guest soloist of the Sofia Philharmonic. On 9 April, conducted by Sascha Goetzel, he will present Mozart's Horn Concerto No. 4, Tchaikovsky's Variations on a Rococo Theme - an arrangement for flugelhorn by Mikhail Nakariakov, and Brahms' Serenade No. 2. 

Sergei Nakaryakov has performed on the world's greatest stages. He was the first to bring the flugelhorn as an equal solo instrument to the concert podium.
