"Bulgaria stands firmly behind the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine", caretaker Minister of Defence Dimitar Stoyanov said during a meeting with the newly-appointed Ambassador of Ukraine to Sofia Olesya Ilashchuk. Minister Stoyanov briefed Ambassador Ilashchuk on the decisions of the National Assembly to provide humanitarian, military and technical assistance to Ukraine. For her part, Olesya Ilashchuk thanked Bulgaria for the assistance provided to Ukraine, as well as for the support for Ukraine’s European and Euro-Atlantic integration.
