"Birds - Paradise on Earth" is the title of an exhibition, which opens today on the capital's Bridge of Lovers as part of the "Culturama 2023" festival. Bulgaria is one of the richest countries in Europe in terms of bird diversity with over 400 species as their number is constantly growing, the organizers say.
The exhibition will show both well-known birds such as the magpie and goldfinch, as well as rare and endangered species returning to this country thanks to the hard work of experts, such as the black vulture.
Within the framework of the festival, discussions will take place on the topic of birds and two documentaries will be broadcast.Defence Minister Atanas Zapryanov has proposed the establishment of wartime command centres for state institutions .
