The existence of a "State Oil Company" is completely unfounded from the point of view of the protection of the country's interests, economic logic and the protection of the competitive fuel market in Bulgaria, according to an analysis of the last caretaker government, which proposed changes to the State Reserves and Wartime Stocks Act.

The legislative changes were adopted at first reading in the National Assembly and immediately after that the MPs started the discussion of the bill. The discussion will continue tomorrow, as well as the second reading vote itself.
