On July 17, Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev will unveil a monument to Vasil Levski in the town of Troyan (Central North Bulgaria). Rumen Radev is to receive the honorary formation of the National Guard at 19,00 pm at Vazrazhdane Square. President Radev and the Mayor of Troyan Donka Mihailova will unveil the monument to the Apostle and a memorial plaque inscribed with the names of the founding members of the Troyan Revolutionary Committee, which was founded by Vasil Levski.
The monument will be consecrated by Metropolitan bishop Gavrail of Lovech. Bulgaria’s Head of State will greet the residents and guests of Troyan on the occasion of the unveiling of the sculpture, which was created by Boris Borisov with donations. Before the ceremony, President Radev will visit the Military Geographical Service in Troyan.
