The five Bulgarians convicted in Great Britain of espionage for the benefit of Russia remain in prison.

Orlin Rusev, Biser Dzhambazov, Katrin Ivanova, Ivan Stoyanov and Vanya Gaberova were today charged with conspiracy to commit espionage, surveillance of persons and objects designated by Russia, kidnapping. They will remain behind bars without the possibility of bail because they are a potential danger and likely to flee.
The expectations of the journalists to film the Bulgarians upon their arrival in the courtroom in London did not materialize and the accusations were presented via video link.

The next lawsuit on the case is scheduled for October 13 this year in the Central Criminal Court.
