Bulgaria and the Republic of Turkey celebrate 100 years of diplomatic relations

Anniversary marked with conference and exhibition

The year 2023 sees the 100th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the then newly proclaimed Republic of Turkey and Bulgaria. The anniversary will be celebrated with a conference entitled "A New Beginning a Century Ago - 100 Years of Diplomatic Relations between Bulgaria and the Republic of Turkey (1923-2023)" and an exhibition entitled "Diplomacy without Many Words. Official Gifts Presented by the Republic of Turkey to Bulgarian Statesmen in the XX-XXI Century" on October 31 at the St. Kliment Ohridski University in Sofia.
