Vasil Terziev, the candidate for mayor of Sofia from the PP-DB, Save Sofia, who, according to the exit polls, won the elections in the capital, thanked everyone who had voted for him. He said that he and his team would be holding a press conference on Monday 6 November, as soon as the final results are available.

Vanya Grigorova, who according to the exit polls came second in the "battle" for Sofia, also said that she would wait for the final results. "We gave citizens hope and offered them a path to freedom. Despite the problems we saw on election day and the smear campaign, we still have hope. We believe that hope lives on and that freedom is within our grasp. Morning is wiser than evening," she said.
