"It is important to lay strong foundations for effective management of Sofia and to support good ideas, regardless of whether they come from the ruling forces or from the opposition." This was stated by the mayor of Sofia, Vasil Terziev, after a conversation with the representatives of BSP for Bulgaria, who confirmed their position that on Monday they do not support Boris Bonev (the candidate from the PP-DB) for the post of chairman of the Sofia Municipal Council.

Vasil Terziev invited to a meeting the leaders of political forces represented in Sthe Sofia Municipal Council to discuss common policies and priorities for the development of Sofia.

Georgi Svilenski from BSP for Bulgaria noted that the party with the majority was responsible for electing the chairman of the Sofia Municipal Council. "I am appealing to all members of the Municipal Council to find a way to start the work of the Council so that it is possible to start the destruction of GERB models," he said.

Vasil Terziev extended his hand to all municipal councilors in the name of future Sofia

GERB-SDS and "There is Such a People" did not accept Mayor Sofia's invitation to meet.
