Village of Svetovrachene near Sofia to host festival of banitsa

The mayor's office of the village of Svetovrachene, Sofia region, has decided to offer an appetizing and tasty start to the new week by organizing the first Banitsa Festival. The event will be held today, January 29, in the center of the village from 10:00 a.m. Anyone who considers themselves a banitsa master will be able to test their skill in the culinary competition. 

There will be prizes for the first three places, the municipality reports.
