Bulgarian Prime Minister Nikolai Denkov has met with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, who paid an official visit to Sofia, BTA has reported. Denkov and Fidan said that the excellent cooperation between the two countries should also continue in the field of security and stability in the region. The Speaker of the Parliament Rosen Zhelyazkov and the Turkish guest discussed the possibilities for deepening and expanding the trade, economic and sectoral cooperation between Bulgaria and Türkiye.

Türkiye is one of Bulgaria's leading foreign economic and trade partners, as well as a strategic investor in Bulgaria.
