Former MEP Sir Graham Watson is in Bulgaria as a special guest of the debate "The EU in the World - Where are we today?", organised with the support of MEP Ilhan Kyuchyuk.

Graham Watson is a long-time leader of the European Liberals with extensive experience in the European Parliament, the Bulgarian MEP's press office said. Watson is a supporter of Bulgaria's accession to the EU and one of the loudest voices in Europe calling for the release of the Bulgarian nurses held in Libya.
