The candidate of the Party of European Socialists (PES) for President of the European Commission, Nicolas Schmit, expressed full support for the admission of Bulgaria and Romania to Schengen. He said this at a meeting with the former chairman of PES and former prime minister of Bulgaria Sergey Stanishev.
