A charity concert for the construction of a monument to Vasil Levski is being held today in Burgas. The organiser of the event is the "Proud Bulgarians" foundation, which has taken on the task of building a monument to the national hero in the seaside city.
Music and dance groups from schools and kindergartens in Bourgas will take part in the concert. The special guest will be the Elitsa Todorova Trio.

The estimated cost of the bronze monument is 500 thousand BGN (about 250 thousand euro). For this purpose, the Foundation collects donations through charity concerts, bazaars and school campaigns.
