Marathon runner Militsa Mircheva breaks national 5km road record

National 10,000m marathon record holder Militsa Mircheva has set a second national record in the 5km road race in Leicester, UK.

Mircheva finished 15th in the elite competition with a time of 15:43, two seconds faster than her previous national record in the event, set on 1 October at the World Athletics Championships in Road Running in Riga, Latvia.
