Participants from 20 countries compete at Sofia Karate Open 2024 for the President's Cup

President Rumen Radev opens the international tournament Sofia Karate Open 2024 - President's Cup on Saturday, April 20. The sports event is being held for the 11th time. 

This year, more than 1,500 participants from 20 countries will take part in it. The tournament is part of the initiative of the head of state "Sport with the President", which promotes physical activity among Bulgarian children and youth. Rumen Radev will welcome the competitors and hand over the President's Cup to the organizers, which will be awarded to the team winner at the end of the tournament.
