Work is underway to ensure that toll cameras start measuring the average speed of motor vehicles. This should happen within the next six months, caretaker Minister of Interior Kalin Stoyanov said.

The delivery of 273 new cameras is expected within months. The minister announced this information in response to a journalist's question about measures against road traffic accidents. Last night, two young men died in Plovdiv after they crashed while driving at high speed. The minister pointed out that according to analyses, serious traffic accidents were often caused by young drivers and spoke about the need for changes in the training of young drivers and an increase in sanctions.
