Trend Survey: Nearly half of the eligible voters will go to the polls on June 9

Voter turnout in the upcoming parliamentary elections is expected to be around 48%. Between 2.5 million and 2.7 million voters will go to the polling stations on June 9. 45% of the respondents declared readiness to vote at the European Parliament elections, indicate data of a representative survey by Research Center Trend, commissioned by 24 Chassa daily. The survey was conducted between May 11 and 18 through face-to-face interviews among 1,003 adults.

In the middle of the election campaign, GERB-SDS has the support of 26.1% of the respondents, followed by We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria (15.4%), the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (14.9%) and Vazrazhdane (14.8%). The Bulgarian Socialist Party is supported by 8.5% of the surveyed. There is Such a People party has 5.5% support. 5% of the respondents said they would choose ''None of the Above'' option.

The Trend poll was commissioned by 24 Chassa daily.
