Weather forecast for 25 May

Sunny with brief afternoon showers in the mountains

On Saturday, minimum temperatures in the country will range from 11 to 14°C, with a low of 12°C in Sofia. Morning fog is expected in the plains and valleys. The day will start sunny, but clouds and rain will develop over the mountains in western and central Bulgaria after midday. Maximum temperatures will be between 20 and 28°C, with the capital reaching 23°C.

Along the Black Sea coast it will be sunny with occasional clouds but no precipitation. Air temperatures will be between 20 and 23°C, while sea temperatures will be between 18 and 20°C. The sea swell is expected to be 3-4.

In the mountains, the morning will be sunny, but rain and thunderstorms are likely in the afternoon. Temperatures will reach 16°C at 1,200 metres and 9°C at 2,000 metres.

On Sunday and Monday the weather will remain sunny, with afternoon showers in the western mountains.
