Bike ride in Sofia on World Bicycle Day

A bicycle ride organized by the associations "For the Earth" and "Veloevolution" and the organization "Soffenhagen" took place in the streets of Sofia earlier today. The occasion was the World Bicycle Day.

The square in front of Alexander Nevsky Cathedral was filled with mostly young people with bicycles.

According to the people gathered, the advantage of cycling is that there is no need to hang in traffic jams, but one can pass between cars or on the pavement.

According to the participants in the bike ride, car drivers are not tolerant of cyclists.
