Border patrol boost: 110 all-terrain vehicles roll in

Interior Minister Kalin Stoyanov today handed over the keys to 110 new all-terrain vehicles to the Border Police at an official ceremony. The vehicles were purchased with EU funding. The phased delivery of a further 200 pick-up trucks is expected to start in September, Stoyanov said. Border Police Director Anton Zlatanov pointed out that migrant pressure has decreased nearly fourfold as a result of the complex measures taken and wished the officers who will use the all-terrain vehicles to continue achieving good results.
