Bulgaria will not be giving cash to Ukraine

Yesterday, a new attempt was made to insinuate that Bulgaria would give cash to Ukraine, GERB leader Boyko Borissov said in parliament. At the closed session of the National Assembly discussing the NATO Summit in Washington, it became clear that no cash would be given at all.

Bulgaria even receives money for the old, unnecessary Soviet equipment. So, Bulgaria does not give money in cash, but its aid is appreciated because we, like all democratic countries, sided with the attacked, not with the aggressor, the GERB leader said. "Do you see where populism leads to? It leads to what will irritate Bulgarians the most - cash, war. Stop playing with the fears of Bulgarians," Borissov said.
