The second edition of the Jazz and Art Festival in Oreshak, from July 11 to 14, brings together performers from Cuba, Argentina, China, Brazil, Serbia, France and Bulgaria, Ivanka Dzhabrailova, manager of the National Exhibition of Crafts and Arts - Oreshak, says.
The jazz festival’s main organizer is Kamen Hasumski - an artist, craftsman and businessman who chose to live in the nearby village of Cherni Osam. Hasumski told BTA that "the idea of the festival is for music to go hand in hand with art". That is how craftsmen and artists will join the concert program. Creative workshops are organized for the youngest visitors and there will be book presentations, too.
On the first day, visitors will hear performances by Jazz Tet - Troyan, Hot Club de Plovdiv, YIK - CNN (China). Only a day after his concert in Sofia, young Brazilian Will Santt will be a guest in Oreshak, as his summer tour in Europe begins from Bulgaria. His concert in Oreshak is dedicated to the work of the legendary João Gilberto.
