Caretaker Premier Dimitar Glavchev and the Director of the General Directorate Fire Safety and Civil Protection, Chief Commissioner Alexander Dzhartov, are in constant communication regarding the wildfire situation in the country, reported the press center of the Council of Ministers. At this stage, the efforts of the firefighters are mainly concentrated in the regions of Haskovo, Stara Zagora, Kyustendil and Plovdiv.
The situation remains most critical near the village of Mustrak, Svilengrad Municipality, where strong winds are hampering the localization of the fire.
