"Love Is Like" (Doppe & Kokke Remix)

Milena Tzanova is a singer who avoids defining her stylistic preferences. That's because her voice is diverse enough in order to unify different styles in her art.

After going through various television formats, she decided to create solo songs. The first song, which bears the remarkable title "Gnashing my Teeth", has everything that excites a teenager. More songs followed, such as “Lyubovta e kato” ("Love Is Like"), which Milena wrote while living and working in Thailand. She returned to Bulgaria, where her most important things are - family, roots, culture, folklore, values... After working with different producers, she came to the conclusion that it would be best for her to produce her music alone. That is how she created “Love is Like".

The two musicians from the Swedish duo Doppe & Kokke have been making music together since they were children. They accidentally came across “Lyubovta e kato” on the Internet and liked it a lot. They contacted Milena Tzanova with a proposal to make a summer deep house remix of the song. In the new version Milena sings again in Bulgarian, but they decided to translate the title into English to distinguish it from the original.

"Love is like… doing the things you like without getting in the way of others and helping everyone around you and yourself above all. That's what love is - being supported and supportive. And loving yourself is important, so you can love everything else around you. Otherwise, it just won't happen!", Milena Tzanova says.
