Weather forecast for 15 October

Warm autumn day ahead

Visibility will be poor in the valleys and around bodies of water on Tuesday morning. Minimum temperatures will be between 6°C and 11°C, slightly lower in areas where fog persists. In Sofia, the minimum temperature will be around 6°C. 

During the day the weather will be mostly sunny. Winds will be moderate from west-northwest.

Low clouds or fog will cover the Black Sea coast in the morning hours, but they will disperse later and the sky will be sunny by midday. Maximum temperatures will be between 21 and 23°C. The temperature of the sea will be 20-21°C. 

Mostly sunny weather is expected over the mountains. There will be moderate to strong northwesterly winds in the higher and open areas. The maximum temperature will be around 17°C at 1,200 metres and 11°C at 2,000 metres.

Wednesday will also be sunny with some clouds in the northeastern part of the country. The north-northeast wind will bring cold air and daytime temperatures will be 4-5 degrees lower in most areas, except the Upper Thracian Plain.
