The UK Ambassador to Bulgaria, Nathaniel Copsey, has met with students from the Language High School in Smolyan to present the "Ambassador for a Day" initiative. It will be held for the eighth consecutive year by the British Embassy.

The aim is to increase girls' interest in diplomacy. Ambassador Nathaniel Copsey was welcomed in the high school in Smolyan according to old traditions with bread, honey, and a music performance, BNR correspondent in Smolyan, Radostina Chernokova reported. The initiative is aimed at girls at the age of 14 to 18. It is held in the form of an essay contest on a given topic, as the winners are guests of the British Embassy for a few days, said Vili Angelova, adviser in the political department.
