"Boris Christoff – Ambassador of the Bulgarian Song" is the title of the concert of the opera singer Plamen Beykov and pianist Bozhena Petrova, which will take place tonight in Studio 1 of the BNR.

"When Boris Christoff's 100th anniversary was celebrated and I participated in a concert in the Bulgarian Cultural Center in Rome, where his library is also located, I buried myself in it. We had heard that he had a great interest in the Bulgarian song, that he also wanted to record, but he never realized his project. Thus, from the large amount of songs, I was able to select 20, on which he left very meaningful reviews, and some of them were even transposed for his voice and prepared for performance.”
