Supporters of Movement for Rights and Freedoms - A New Beginning are protesting in front of the official entrance of the National Assembly. The protesters are separated by a police cordon from the buildings of the Presidency, the Council of Ministers and the Parliament.
Traffic in the area has been closed to vehicles. Seven more protests are expected around the National Assembly building. A total of 5,000 people are expected to participate at the protests. One person was detained before the protests this morning, said Ivan Georgiev from the metropolitan police.
