One of the biggest music events for the year is taking place tonight in Arena hall in Sofia – a concert by Lili Ivanova. 15,000 will be able to watch the legend of Bulgarian pop perform live in the hall, and many more than that will be able to live stream the concert online thanks to an innovative Bulgarian streaming art platform – all people who have bought virtual tickets will be able to do so within the space of 48 hours after the start of the concert using a phone, a tablet, a laptop or TV. The tickets to the concert in the hall were sold out 15 days before the event, that is why Lili Ivanova’s team posted a thank you letter in her social media channels. Lili Ivanova’s 2024 concert tour included 21 towns in Bulgaria, plus a concert in Brussels. The tickets to most of them were sold out well in advance.
Eighty musicians will join tonight’s show, including the orchestra of the Sofia Opera and Ballet with conductor Konstantin Dobroikov, and the talented musicians from LI Orchestra and the vocal group LaTiDa. On the eve of her concert Lili Ivanova also released a new album.
Meanwhile, the legendary singer announced several dates from her concert tour in 2025. It will start with a club performance on 14 February, St. Valentine’s Day, and will continue with a boutique concert at the Ivan Vazov National Theatre in Sofia in May, then the seaside cities of Varna and Burgas in July, Plovdiv in September, and again Sofia – hall No. 1 of the National Palace of Culture in December, 2025.
