No reports of Bulgarian citizens injured in Magdeburg Christmas market attack

According to the Bulgarian Embassy in Berlin, there is currently no information about Bulgarian citizens injured after the terrorist attack in the city of Magdeburg, in which a car rammed into a crowd at the city's Christmas market. The Embassy is in constant contact with local authorities and continues to monitor the situation with increased attention, the Foreign Ministry announced. 

If assistance is needed, Bulgarian citizens can contact the Bulgarian diplomatic mission in Berlin at +49 30 201 09 22 or + 49 176 122 99 190.

A child and an adult died after the attack, and at least 68 people were injured, many of them seriously, announced Rainer Haseloff, Prime Minister of the state of Saxony-Anhalt. 

The attack occurred 8 years after a similar incident at a Christmas market in Berlin, BTA reported.
