Decisions in the Joint Governance Council will be taken by consensus and will concern the executive and legislative powers, GERB MP Raya Nazaryan said. "This Joint Governance Council should be operational so that both the executive and legislative agendas can be prepared and normal working mechanisms can be set in motion," she added in Parliament.
The Democracy, Rights and Freedoms-DPS group said it had not yet chosen its representatives on the council. There Is Such a People (ITN) will be represented in the Council by the leadership of its group and its participants in the executive. So far, there has been no discussion about which positions will be sought at the level of deputy ministers, regional governors and regulators, MP Stanislav Balabanov told parliament.
