The majority of Austrian companies that have invested in Bulgaria expect the economic climate in the country to remain stable (54%) or improve (13%) over the next 12 months. This was shown by the traditional "Survey among Austrian investors in Bulgaria" of Advantage Austria. The results were presented by Philippe Kupfer, Commercial Counsellor at the Austrian Embassy. The survey was conducted at the end of 2024 and includes representatives of 98 companies.
For 40% of respondents, the introduction of the euro in Bulgaria will have a positive impact on their activities, for 24% - "rather positive", for another 24% it will not have any impact.
