The Bulgarian Ministry of Tourism will work to create a map of important, but hard-to-reach tourist and cultural-historical sites. The goal is then to insist on financing the necessary repairs and improvements that will facilitate visitors' access to these sites. Only in this way will the development of local tourism be supported, the press center of the Ministry of Tourism announced.

The idea for the map was reached after a meeting between the Minister of Tourism Miroslav Borshosh and the Mayor of Samokov Municipality Eng. Angel Dzhorgov during a tour of the Beli Iskar eco-trail of the Rila National Park.

When preparing the map, the ministry will rely on dialogue with tourist associations to specify the list of sites, as well as the non-governmental sector in the person of the National Association of Municipalities in the Republic of Bulgaria.
