Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises against travel to Greece due to a national strike

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has advised Bulgarian citizens to avoid traveling to Greece because of a planned national strike today. The Foreign Ministry advises people to check the situation in Bulgaria's southern neighbor and the timeliness of flight schedules. People are also advised to avoid entering the central parts of large cities and to follow the instructions of local authorities.

Greece is marking today the second anniversary of the train crash in the Tempe Pass near Larissa, where 57 people lost their lives in a head-on collision.
