President of Montenegro Jakov Milatović pays a two-day visit to Bulgaria

The President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović, arrives in Bulgaria today for a two-day official visit at the invitation of President Rumen Radev. Presidents Radev and Milatović will discuss opportunities for deepening bilateral relations in the fields of economy, connectivity, education and science, culture, security, and regional cooperation in Southeast Europe.

The Montenegrin head of state will be welcomed with an official ceremony at St. Alexander Nevsky Square. He will also pay tribute at the Monument to the Unknown Soldier.

The programme of the visit also includes the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Institute of Marine Biology of Montenegro and the Bulgarian Antarctic Institute, as well as a visit to the Novo Selo Training Area, where Presidents Radev and Milatović will be welcomed by an honor guard from the Multinational Battle Group.
