Weather forecast for Bulgaria for 14 March 2025

Almost summer temperatures expected in Bulgaria on the last day of the working week

On Friday the weather in Bulgaria will be mostly sunny. There will be more significant cloudiness over Northwestern Bulgaria and there will be short-term rain in places in the afternoon. There will be a moderate wind, in the regions north of the mountains and Eastern Bulgaria a temporarily strong and gusty wind from the south-southwest. 

The minimum temperatures tomorrow will be between 8°C and 13°C, in Sofia – around 9°C, daytime highs will reach 22°C to 27°C, in Sofia – around 22°C.

In the mountains it will be mostly sunny with scattered high clouds. The cloud cover will be more significant over the Western Stara Planina and in some places it is possible to rain. Strong wind is expected, in the higher parts – a stormy wind from the west-southwest. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m will be around 14°C, at 2,000 m – around 6°C.

Along the Bulgarian Black Sea coast it will be mostly sunny. A moderate wind will blow from the south-southwest. Maximum temperatures will be between 20°C and 24°C, slightly lower north of Cape Kaliakra, and the temperature of the sea water – 7°-8°C. 

Over the Western Balkans it will remain windy with significant cloudiness and rain, temporarily intense in Slovenia. Over the southeastern parts of the peninsula it will be mostly sunny.

In Athens and Bucharest it will be 24°C, in Istanbul – 22°C, in Belgrade – 21°C.
