The tenth anniversary edition of Tarnovo Ultra begins

A record number of participants from Bulgaria and abroad are expected to take part in the tenth anniversary edition of the Tarnovo Ultra Bike and Trail  in Veliko Tarnovo, announced the organizers from the sports club “Brown Team”.

The competitions – mainly for amateurs – will be held today and tomorrow. Cyclists will compete on the first day of the marathon, and runners will compete on the second day of the event.

The longest distance in the cycling event is 55 km, and in the running event – 51 km. Two duathlons (combining cycling and running routes) are also planned.

Participants will compete on scenic routes around the Trapezitsa hill, the Holy Trinity Monastery and many other locations,

For the first time, a children's run will also be held, with over 350 children registered to participate.
