Weather forecast for 16 April

Warm weather is back

On Wednesday, lows will be between 5 and 10°C, with Sofia around 7°C. The sky will be mostly sunny, with some clouds in the eastern areas before midday. Light to moderate winds will blow from the south-east. Maximum temperatures will be between 19 and 24°C, around 21°C in the capital.


In the mountains it will be mostly sunny, with cumulus clouds developing in the afternoon, but there is little chance of precipitation. A strong south-southwesterly wind will blow. Maximum temperatures will be around 15°C at 1,200 m and around 8°C at 2,000 m. 


Along the Black Sea coast, clouds will begin to disperse before noon and the afternoon will be mostly sunny. Maximum air temperatures will be between 15 and 13°C. Water temperatures will be 10-9°C. The sea will be calm.


On Thursday there will be a temporary increase in clouds, especially over western Bulgaria. There will be isolated light showers. Winds will remain southeast, light to moderate along the Black Sea coast. Lows will be between 4 and 9°C and highs between 18 and 23°C.
