Bulgarian President Rumen Radev will participate in the Three Seas initiative

Bulgarian President Rumen Radev begins his two-day visit to Warsaw at the invitation of his counterpart Andrzej Duda. In the Polish capital, he will participate in the 10th Summit of the “Three Seas” initiative to deepen cooperation in the energy, transport and digital spheres between 13 countries of the European Union, the president’s press office announced.

The Bulgarian head of state will visit the National Library of Poland, which houses part of the original of the Suprasl (Retkov) Collection. In gratitude for the preservation and popularization of the only preserved Old Bulgarian manuscript of the Preslav Literary School from the Golden Age of Bulgaria – included in the UNESCO Memory of the World Register of World Written Heritage, as well as on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of its opening, Rumen Radev will honor the library with a plaque “St. St. Cyril and Methodius”.
