Weather forecast for 30 April

Morning frost, but day temps will rise

Wednesday morning will be cold, with frost forming again in some plains and valleys. Lows will be between 1 and 4°C. In Sofia it will be around 2°C. During the day it will be sunny all over the country. There will be light to moderate winds from east-northeast. Maximum temperatures will be between 20 and 25°C, but will remain lower along the Black Sea coast, with around 20°C in the capital.


It will be sunny in the mountains. There will be moderate winds, with strong north-easterly winds on the ridges. The maximum temperature will be around 12°C at 1,200 m and around 4°C at 2,000 m.


The Black Sea coast will be mostly sunny. There will be light to moderate east-northeast winds. Maximum air temperatures will be between 13 and 15°C. The sea temperature will be 12-13°C. The sea will reach 3 to 4 on the Beaufort scale.


Thursday will be mostly sunny, with cumulus clouds developing around and after midday. Short showers will fall mainly in central and mountainous areas. Morning temperatures will still be cool, with lows just above zero in the south-east and between 3 and 8 in the rest of the country.
