Bulgaria will not make any concessions to the Republic of North Macedonia in order for Skopje to start negotiations on the country's membership in the European Union. This was reiterated by President Rumen Radev in Warsaw, where he took part in the 10th Three Seas Summit.

He said he expected the North Macedonian authorities to show they're thinking like statesmen and finally fulfil the conditions they've agreed to, including amending their constitution to recognise the Bulgarian minority as a state-founding people, so that negotiations with Brussels can begin.

"We are not talking about concessions at all. Such a word does not exist in my vocabulary with regard to the Republic of North Macedonia," Radev was categorical.
