Grigor Dimitrov climbs to 15th in ATP rankings

Bulgaria's top tennis player, Grigor Dimitrov, has climbed one place in the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) rankings. Last week Dimitrov took part in the Masters 1000 tournament in the Spanish capital Madrid, where he reached the fourth round. He is now ranked 15th in the world with 2,685 points.


Plovdiv-born Dimitar Kuzmanov, Bulgaria's number two player, moved up to 269th with 199 points.


Australian Open champion Jannik Sinner (Italy) remains at the top of the rankings with 9,730 points. Sinner is currently serving a suspension for an anti-doping violation. He is followed by Alexander Zverev of Germany with 8,085 points and Spain's Carlos Alcaraz with 7,850 points.
