Yellow code for dangerous rainfall in 13 regions of northern and eastern Bulgaria

On Thursday morning the rain will stop. Minimum temperatures will be between 8 and 13°C, in Sofia - 9°C. During the day, before noon, the rain will resume - more intense in the north of the country, where there will be thunderstorms and conditions for hailThere is a yellow code for dangerous rainfall in 13 regions in northern and eastern Bulgaria. Winds will be light to moderate from the east-southeast. Maximum temperatures will be between 20 and 25°C, around 21°C in the capital.


Rain clouds will develop in the mountains. Significant precipitation will fall in many places, accompanied by thunderstorms and hail. Winds will be moderate to strong from the west-northwest. Maximum temperatures will be around 17°C at 1,200 m and around 9°C at 2,000 m.


Along the Black Sea coast it will be cloudy with rain. Maximum air temperatures will be between 15 and 18°C. The sea temperature will be 13-15°C. The sea will be 2-3.


On Friday, the northwesterly wind will bring cool air. Rain will return in the evening. Localised heavy rain is still possible. Temperatures will be a few degrees lower.
